Not a trailblazer?

A new unauthorized biography of the Governor of Alaska, "Trailblazer: An intimate biography of Sarah Palin", hit bookstores on Tuesday and the Governor is not happy about it.

A Palin family spokesperson says it's hardly an intimate biography.

"I think there's an element of frustration in that you know it says an ‘intimate biography', as though this author knows the governor, and he doesn't. He spent one day with her." Meghan Stapleton said.

The author of the biography, People magazine assistant editor Lorenzo Benet, said he interviewed her parents and her sister and several in-laws.

"He may have had access, it was access granted through disingenuous conversations." Stapleton said.

Stapleton says this is the first of what she suspects will be many unauthorized biographies of Sarah Palin.

"She has no intention of reading this book or any other unauthorized* book." Stapleton said.

Stapleton says Sarah Palin is not giving interviews about any of this and has become more guarded about what she says and to whom.

Sarah could ban this book from Wasilla Library... Oh, but having achieved national stardom, that won't do the trick!

As for becoming more guarded about what she says and to whom, it looks like she has already taken steps towards it. Sarah only likes to speak to Greta, Beck and the rest of the gang at Fox News! They ask all the tough questions, but she does't mind...

(*delete the word "unauthorized" for a more accurate statement)
